Synopsis
Today, the concept of communication has a very important place in the world we live in. Communication has become an element that connects societies, organizations, businesses and people in socio-economic terms. Organizations establish ties with their internal and external environments and stakeholders through communication. Organizational communication, on the other hand, provides information flow between management and employees within the organization. In this direction, organizational communication is encountered in all activities related to the organization, from business practices to all activities. In this section, communication and organizational communication are examined and their importance for organizations is stated. Rapidly advancing technology and the increasing prevalence of information flow allow the use of all kinds of communication within the organization. The fact that communication is no longer just a written and verbal source is also reflected in the relationships within organizations and institutions. The performance and productivity of employees pass through the communication relationships they establish with the management. Organizational communication satisfaction significantly affects the commitment of employees to the organization, job satisfaction, performance, well-being and psychological states. In the study, the concept of communication is defined and its processes are explained. The characteristics, functions and communication satisfaction of organizational communication are also examined.
