Synopsis
Leaky gut syndrome (GBS) is a condition that occurs when the permeability of the intestinal wall increases. This can lead to digestive problems and inflammation in the body. Food supplements can help relieve GBS symptoms and support overall health. In leaky gut, food particles leaking can trigger the immune system and cause allergic reactions. While some supplements help reduce this leakage, supplements such as probiotics also improve digestive health by balancing the intestinal flora. Omega-3 fatty acids can help reduce inflammation in the body. Some important supplements for managing GBS are: Probiotics: Support intestinal health and strengthen the immune system. L-glutamine: Reduces permeability by repairing the intestinal wall. Zinc: Supports intestinal health and strengthens the immune system. Omega-3 Fatty Acids: Reduces inflammation and protects heart health. Vitamin D: Strengthens the immune system and supports bone health. It is important to treat the underlying causes of GBS; supplements should be used as a support to treatment. In addition, a gluten-free, lactose-free, and fermented diet is recommended for individuals with GBS. Stress management is also of great importance, as stress can exacerbate GBS symptoms. Therefore, stress management techniques such as yoga and meditation may be helpful
As a result, food supplements can now be consumed as an aid and consumable in GBS.
