There are three main foundations of the economy: Trust, real production and knowing the speculative financial games well and taking the necessary measures as individuals, families and countries in a timely manner. Today, one of the most important sources of economic wealth and power is research and development (R&D) and the commercialization of R&D products. Countries that can produce high and super technology through R&D and commercialization have real economic wealth, countries that cannot are content with a labor-intensive economy. The aim of this book is to examine the planning and implementation of the research-development-commercialization (R&D-Com) process with examples of scientific research. In this context, in the first chapter, R&D, economic growth and growth theories are explained in detail. In the second section, examples from the literature on R&D and commercialization in the world and Turkey are given. In the last section, the relationship between R&D indicators and growth in Turkey is explained with econometric analysis methods. I hope that this book will be a valuable source of reference and contribute to the establishment of a more equitable and human-centered economic order.
