Synopsis
Although organ donation is vital today, there are still not enough donations to meet the demand. There are many ongoing ethical, legal, medical and religious questions among people regarding organ donation and transplantation. Necessary steps must be taken to eliminate these question marks and meet the demand. Organ donation and transplantation a vital issues that will increase the quality of life and the desire to hold on to life for many people who have lost hope in life. Many steps need to be taken to ensure that such a vital process is more widely accepted and taken into action by society. The most important step is to eliminate situations that will cause misunderstandings by people. The main reasons for these misunderstandings and obstacles are people's incorrect religious, legal, and medical knowledge and attitudes. Conducting more frequent studies, informing people correctly, and creating appropriate policies and standardized guidelines for both donors and recipients will be important steps to be taken to ensure the supply-demand balance in organ donation and transplantation. These steps are important in eliminating incomplete and incorrect information about donors and recipients regarding religious, legal, and medical aspects, obtaining more concrete data on organ donation and transplantation, increasing awareness, and closing the gap between supply and demand.
