Synopsis

The study titled "The Palestinian Question: An Outcome of Eight Decades of Western Policies" has been principally driven by the crimes known as genocide committed by Israel in Gaza (Palestine) following the Al-Aqsa Flood operation on October 7, 2023. Additionally, the study delves into the background of Israel's policy since 1948, which massive human rights violations have characterized. Within this framework, the Palestine issue is explored through themes such as the international political system, political sociology, socio-cultural realities, nation-state/national identity, international humanitarian law, globalisation, economics, and civil society. Under the aegis of empirical approaches, this academic undertaking aims to shed light on historical truths and enrich the body of history. Each of the chapters reflects a deep understanding of the skewed global political scenario about the alliance of imperialism and Zionism, the injustices perpetrated against the peoples of the Middle East, and, most recently, the genocide underway in Gaza. The book discusses the geopolitics relating to Western imperialism and genocide, considering Zionist tactics and territorial designs aimed at the Palestinian people. Moreover, the research is deemed innovative due to its comprehensive examination of Palestinian resistance initiatives and its incorporation of various viewpoints regarding the subject matter.
