Synopsis
Paternalistic leadership is one of the issues that has an important place and value in ensuring harmony between employees and leaders in businesses. The behavior of leaders towards their employees is very important in ensuring the loyalty of employees to their institutions, increasing their performance and productivity, and decreasing the employee turnover rate of a business. In this sense, the issue of paternalistic leadership is one of the issues that has a serious impact on the success of both businesses and employees. In fact, research has shown that the harmony between employees and managers (leaders) of businesses that have become pioneers in their sectors and achieved a certain level of success is at the highest level.
In this study prepared within the framework of this purpose, the concept of paternalistic leadership will be discussed in detail, and the definition of paternalistic leadership, the emergence of aternalistic leadership, the characteristics and dimensions of paternalistic leadership will be explained respectively.
