Synopsis
The aim of this study is to examine the content of snow sports courses in detail. In the first stage, the syllabus and its content were examined. In this context, the objectives, outcomes, gains and content of the course were determined, which topics were covered in which order and how the course was planned. In the second stage, the teaching materials were examined in detail. Books, presentations and other resources used in the course were evaluated and it was determined to what extent these materials supported the theoretical knowledge of the course and to what extent they were sufficient for practical application. In the third stage, teaching methods and evaluation processes were analyzed. Examination assessment processes and learning methods such as practice and field studies were taken into account, and the extent to which these processes affected students' understanding of the course content and the skills they gained were evaluated. Finally, in the fourth step, the cultural and historical context was taken into account and the information provided by the lessons to the students about the development, historical significance and cultural impact of skiing was analyzed. This evaluation ensured that the course was understood from a broader sporting perspective, providing students with a culturally rich experience.
These analyses provide critical information to comprehensively evaluate snowsports course content and improve the effectiveness of the courses. Future research is expected to contribute to further improve the lessons and increase student achievement.
