Synopsis

The aim of this study is to reveal the loss of qualified workforce due to migration and the role of social media in these migrations. It is observed that the demand for qualified workforce has increased due to technological advances, aging and decreasing birth rates in developed countries. Qualified workforce consists of people who have the ability to work anywhere in the world with the qualifications they have. This trained workforce migrates from underdeveloped countries to developed countries. When we look at recent years, qualified workforce from Turkiye has been migrating in masses for very different reasons. There are many different reasons for this migration. Along with these reasons, there are some factors that facilitate the decision to migrate, the most important of which is social media. Social media is effective in many areas and also plays a very important role in migrations. Simultaneous explanation and display of living conditions abroad triggers migration. The loss of qualified human resources through migration will cause very big problems for the country today and in the future. With the mediation of developed social media, the workforce trained at great costs easily migrates. It is important to express the migration of qualified human resources through social media interaction.
