Synopsis
Competitive advantage refers to the ability of a business to be in a more effective and advantageous position than its competitors. This advantage can often result from the uniqueness of the product or service offered by the business, cost advantages or effective management of customer relations. Achieving competitive advantage requires careful planning of business strategy, optimization of operational processes, and mastery of market dynamics. E-business is a term used for businesses that optimize business processes by leveraging digital technologies and put information and communication technologies at the center of the business model. In this study, the concept of competition and competitive advantage and its development stages, the role of e-business practices in competitive advantage and current practices in Turkey are examined.
