The purpose of this research is to examine how the leadership roles and skills of school administrators are shaped within the framework of changing relationships and needs. Leadership is the process of directing and managing people to achieve desired goals. The need for leaders in organizations to guide employees and bring them together to achieve goals is increasing day by day. Today, the success of educational institutions is closely related not only to the academic performance of students but also to the leadership skills of school administrators. However, this relationship cannot be explained only by traditional leadership styles. Today, due to changing educational environments and technologies, leaders need to have characteristics such as flexibility, innovation and teamwork. In addition, being sensitive to the needs of students and teachers and having fair and open communication skills are also important to be a successful educational leader. It is important to adopt and develop modern leadership approaches for the success of educational institutions. Therefore, new leadership styles are constantly being added to the literature. One of these leadership styles is "Chameleon Leadership", which entered the literature in 2006 and uses the chameleon as a metaphor. Chameleon leadership; It is a leadership style that influences followers' behavior, communication style, and adapts to situations to affect desired results. Chameleon leaders lead by adapting to their environment and adjusting their behavior according to different situations. In this way, they can communicate effectively with team members, motivate them and develop various methods to achieve goals.
