Synopsis
In today's society, eating habits emerge as a dynamic process shaped by cultural, economic and technological factors. These changes also significantly affect individuals' perception of body image and understanding of healthy living. In particular, the proliferation of social media and digital platforms plays a central role in the evolution of individuals' body perceptions. While the replacement of traditional eating habits with fast and practical foods has changed the diets of individuals, this situation has also transformed the perceptions on body image. The fast pace of life, the increase in access to processed foods and the weakening of the awareness of healthy eating create difficulties in the healthy perception of individuals' bodies. Although a healthy body image is generally associated with a thin and fit appearance in society, the cultural and social norms behind this perception are thought to be very important. Changing eating habits and sociologically healthy body image are important factors affecting the quality of life of individuals. In order to promote healthy body image in society, it is thought that individuals should develop conscious eating habits.
