Synopsis
Robotic systems are systems that can be programmed, can perform certain tasks autonomously or semi-autonomously, consist of mechanics, electronics and software, and combine elements of automation and artificial intelligence. Robotic systems, which are used not only in production processes but also in many areas of life, have a wide range of applications from industrial production to health services and from agriculture to space exploration. In this study, a general introduction of robotic systems, the current potential status and future status of the robotic systems profession, and the robotics programs at undergraduate and associate degree levels in higher education institutions were examined. In addition, general characteristics, components, usage areas, advantages and developments of robotic systems are discussed.
