Dear readers, This book was prepared to thoroughly examine the importance of newborn hearing screening and the role of parents in this process. The newborn period is a critical period in terms of hearing development and early diagnosis can make a big difference in the development of children. The main goal of our book is to fill the gaps in knowledge for parents in this area, to raise their awareness and to help them understand how the process works. This resource, created with the contributions of experts, aims to contribute to the creation of a healthier and more sensitive society by shedding light on families, health professionals and educators.
