Synopsis
In this study, the concept of malpractice is examined theoretically based on the increasing malpractice lawsuits. The factors that cause malpractice and the legislation that is the basis of legal proceedings in this field in Turkey are discussed by mentioning the difference between malpractice and complications. In addition, the responsibility of the management is also taken into consideration and the issues that should be taken into consideration in institutions and organizations where health services are provided are discussed.
