Synopsis
The increased blood flow during physical activity allows the brain to receive more oxygen and nutrients. This contributes to more efficient functioning of brain cells and increased cognitive functions, especially attention. There is, of course, a positive relationship between attention, which is defined as an individual's ability to concentrate his/her mental skills on a particular situation, and physical activity. In this context, in the current section, the effect of physical activity on the development of attention was tried to be examined.
In elderly individuals who exercise regularly, cognitive skills such as attention and memory develop through physical activity. As a result, it can be said that physical activity has a positive effect on attention by improving brain health and cognitive functions, and supports general mental health as well as increasing attention.
