Synopsis

Organizational commitment refers to the sense of loyalty that employees feel towards their organizations. This concept is considered to be of great importance for sport management and sport managers. Organizational commitment, which plays a critical role in the success of the organizations organized by both sports clubs and sports managers, also encourages coaches and technical staff to contribute more to the athletes and the club. At the same time, organizational commitment plays a major role in the process of making and implementing strategic decisions in sport management. Organizational commitment of other staff working in sports facilities such as physiotherapists, dieticians and administrative staff is also extremely important in terms of general functioning and efficiency. In this context, in this book chapter, which aims to evaluate organizational commitment in terms of sport management and sport managers, it can be said that high organizational commitment levels of sport managers increase club productivity and positively affect employees' job satisfaction
