Synopsis
While playing an important role in driving economic growth and fostering innovation, SMEs often face serious challenges in marketing and finance that hinder their sustainable development. In marketing, SMEs face a number of barriers, such as limited resources and a lack of quality-based marketing with economic changes and the evolving landscape of digital marketing. In the realm of finance, SMEs may face problems such as insufficient capital, low levels of financial know-how and literacy, economic instability and incentive-related problems. With this study, it is aimed to reveal a general picture by examining the SMEs operating in Düzce province in terms of marketing and finance problems and to present and share an output to both the literature and SMEs by offering solutions to the problems based on these activities. The interaction between marketing and finance is crucial for the survival of SMEs and this study emphasizes the need for an integrated approach. Furthermore, this study highlights the complex relationship between marketing and financial challenges faced by SMEs and proposes a holistic approach to address these issues.
