Synopsis
Humanity has faced various disasters throughout history. These disasters have occurred from natural causes such as floods, earthquakes, tsunamis, fires and volcanic eruptions, or from man-made artificial causes such as war, nuclear explosions, mass or individual massacres. This type of tourism, called dark tourism, has become a phenomenon with an increasing number of participants today. Dark tourism areas, events, motivations and the factors that make these areas attractive have always been a matter of curiosity. In this study, it was aimed to create a conceptual framework about the situation of sadness tourism by examining the national and international literature.
