Synopsis
The Circular Economy (CE) concept requires the reorganization of conventional linear supply chains via prioritizing the reuse of resources, prolonging product life cycles, and minimizing waste. This method is being more and more used to tackle environmental issues and improve sustainability. Studies suggest that incorporating circular economy principles into supply chains has a beneficial effect on both the overall performance of organizations and their operational efficiency. This chapter presents a conceptual analysis of the transformative effect that the circular economy model has on logistics processes and supply chains. This study investigates the ways in which regulators of logistics processes can effectively manage the flow of products and services while simultaneously mitigating environmental impacts within the circular economy framework. In conclusion, this study provides a thorough illustration of how the implementation of the circular economy can significantly impact supply chains and logistics processes, thereby aiding in the attainment of sustainability objectives.
