Synopsis
Exercise is a specific combination of bodily movements that are regularly planned, structured and repeated with the aim of increasing an individual's physical fitness, maintaining health or improving specific components of it. Scientific research indicates that regularly planned exercise provides a number of important health benefits. However, despite the available data, it is observed that many people still maintain sedentary lifestyle habits. This can be a barrier to strengthening societies and building healthy individuals. Physical inactivity can pose a serious threat to the overall health of societies as well as individuals. Therefore, it is of great importance for individuals to acquire and maintain regular exercise habits in order to raise the overall health levels of societies and deal with health problems. Exercise can contribute not only to physical health, but also to mental and emotional well-being, which can improve community well-being. Adherence, one of the psychological factors that influence exercise behaviors, plays a critical role in maintaining an exercise habit. Engagement is a concept that interacts with various mental states and leads individuals to exhibit behaviors focused on specific goals. This includes creating a positive atmosphere, gaining energy, gaining a sense of belonging, internalization and vitality. Exercise not only contributes to physical health, but also has profound effects on mental and emotional well-being. Commitment to exercise is a solid bridge to continually reap these health benefits. Efforts to build referral and adherence to exercise to achieve healthy individual and community goals can play an important role in improving the overall well-being of societies. The critical link between exercise and adherence ensures that individuals acquire and maintain healthy living habits. Commitment to exercise strengthens not only physical health, but also mental and emotional health. Establishing and maintaining regular exercise habits is of great importance for individuals to improve their overall well-being.
