Turkiye is among the leading countries in the world in terms of agricultural production. Çanakkale is a province of agriculture, culture and tourism with its historical and cultural values and ecological factors. The main economic sector of the province is agriculture, and agriculture-based industry, whose raw material is agricultural products, plays an important role in the economy of the province. In the province, 35% of the active population is employed in the agricultural sector. Çanakkale has an important place in its region and throughout the country with its land, ecological characteristics, diversity of plant and animal production, aquaculture potential and livestock. The problems of agriculture across the country are reflected in Çanakkale agriculture to varying levels. In the future, agricultural production is expected to be one of the most important income activities of the province.
