Synopsis

Recently, many natural disasters have occurred in our country. On 06.02.2023 at 04:17, two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.7 centered in Pazarcık, Kahramanmaraş province, and two earthquakes with a magnitude of 7.6 centered in Elbistan at 13:24 occurred. These earthquakes were followed by many aftershocks and affected 11 provinces in total, including Kahramanmaraş, Hatay, Adana, Malatya, Malatya, Adıyaman, Gaziantep, Şanlıurfa, Diyarbakır, Osmaniye, Kilis and later Elazığ province, and were felt in most provinces of our country. Attempts were made to reach the scene of the earthquake in the first hours of the earthquake, but some provinces could not be reached in time due to serious damage to air and highways. It was reported that 50,783 people lost their lives, 115,353 people were injured and 37,984 buildings were destroyed. In the aftermath of the earthquake, the whole of Turkey stood united and clearly demonstrated unity and solidarity with all its people, institutions and organizations in order to provide and send all kinds of aid.
