In this study, it is aimed to compare the attitudes and behaviours of the members of Sinop Off-Road Club and the local people on environmental sensitivity. Although off-road, which is evaluated within alternative tourism, may be seen as an innocent sport, it may cause environmental problems and create differences of opinion between those who practice the sport and the people living in the region. Therefore, this study aimed to examine the environmental impacts and environmental sensitivities of Sinop Off-Road Club members and to evaluate the attitudes of other people living in the same region towards these impacts. In the study, which was carried out using qualitative data collection method, interviews were conducted with off-road club members and local people in the region, environmental awareness levels and attitudes towards the environment of off-road club members were measured, and the attitudes of local people towards off-road activities were evaluated. The results of the study reveal how off-road club members and local people differ and show similarities in environmental issues. In the study, it is seen that off-road pilots generally try to fulfil their environmental responsibilities and pay attention to environmentally friendly practices. In addition, according to the data obtained, most of the local people think that off-road sport provides economic contribution to the region and off-road pilots do not harm the environment.
