Despite  the fact that the tourism sector has a very distinctive international focus and has a holistic view that brings together a wide variety of service dimensions (travel, food and beverage services, etc.), financial technology applications in tourism enterprises have not been extensively studied until now, It leaves unanswered the question of 'what does a sector look like in terms of digital financial applications', which plays an important role in economic and social development and is the direct interlocutor of financial practices. However, answering this question can help to understand how and to what extent the tourism industry uses digital finance applications, and can draw attention to the obvious advantages and disadvantages in this regard, and this, in turn, can contribute to creating a more solid ground for the more effective use of financial technologies in tourism businesses. This study aimed to answering the above-mentioned question. In this direction, in this part of the book, first of all, the main concepts used within the scope of financial technology are explained and based on these concepts, comprehensive information on financial technology applications in tourism enterprises is given.
