Synopsis

This study was conducted to examine the relationship between Social Support in Physical Activities and Life Satisfaction of students staying at the Credit and Dormitories Institution. A total of 400 university students participated in the research voluntarily and the research was conducted online via Google forms. Social Support Scale Farias Junior et al. The scale developed by (2014); It consists of two sub-dimensions: "parental support" and "peer support". 5 items evaluating both sub-dimensions of the 10-item scale, prepared as a 4-point rating, contain the same expressions. The aim is to study the validity and reliability of the "Life Satisfaction Scale (LISS)" developed by Diener, Emmons, Larsen and Griffin (1985) under Turkish conditions. The original scale is in English and consists of a total of 5 items under a single-factor structure. IBM SPSS 25 Statistical package program was used to analyze the data. In order to gain insight into demographic information and other groups of questions, descriptive statistics including arithmetic mean, standard deviation, frequency and percentage distributions were used to determine the relationship between university students' life satisfaction and social support in physical activities, and to determine the relationship between life satisfaction and some demographic variables in its sub-dimensions in physical activities. In order to determine the distribution of the data, tests appropriate to the distribution were applied.
