Glamping is drawing attention as a tourism phenomenon that has become the subject of tourism research and gained popularity in recent years. Glamping can be considered a new form of camping, derived from the combination of the words 'glamorous' and 'camping'. It offers both comfort and luxury, representing a distinctive and different type of accommodation. The luxury and comfort of the tents are used to indicate a distinctive and different type of accommodation. The desire for a more interesting, luxurious, extraordinary, personalized accommodation and holiday experience is more dominant in luxury campers. However, the areas where glamping establishments operate, their qualifications, and the equipment of glamping tents are starting to be determined within the framework of laws and regulations. In this book chapter, firstly, the concept of glamping and the development process of glamping tourism are discussed. Then, the differences between camping and glamping are explained and the distinguishing features are examined. Also, in this chapter, the characteristics of glamping establishments and areas and the equipment required in glamping tents are explained within the framework of the relevant laws and regulations. In the last part, the relationship of glamping tourism with other types of tourism and the state of glamping tourism in Turkey and around the world are explained with the help of statistical data.
