Synopsis
Although it is known that the foundation stones of modern economic history were laid with the 18th century industrial revolution, it is understood that the real change and transformation took place with the steps of globalization after the Second World War. In the post-2000 period, called the millennium age, where democratization and liberalization tendencies prevailed, technological developments in areas such as innovation, R&D, invention, and invention show that a new economic era has begun. These developments eventually began to appear in the literature with the concept of information economy or new economy, along with the fourth industrial revolution.
