Synopsis
Organizational agility allows universities to adapt positively to both labor market requirements and rapid technological progress, contributes to defining their capabilities, environment, and competing institutions, enables them to manage, control and influence constant internal and external changes by generating new options and alternatives.
One of the most important characteristics of successful universities is a high level of organizational agility, which enables them to intelligently and logically anticipate and cope with sudden and unexpected changes, modify their operations to cope with them, overcome threats and risks, maximize their advantages, and seize promising opportunities. Successful organizations need strategies to leverage knowledge and information technologies for survival, sustainability, and strategic advantage in an unpredictable world. In parallel with the increasing competitiveness of universities around the world, universities in Turkey must become more competitive and agile. In an increasingly knowledge-driven society, more and more people see education and training as the key to a better future, employment and career, as well as a successful and fulfilling life.
