In today's context of environmental degradation such as global warming, rapid consumption and pollution of natural resources, it has become necessary for businesses to consider environmental issues in their strategic planning processes. The introduction of environmental management systems has also highlighted the importance of the concept of green innovation. Green innovation is defined as hardware or software innovation related to green products or processes, including energy conservation, pollution prevention, waste recycling, green product design or innovation in technologies related to corporate environmental management. Accordingly, this section aims to evaluate the concept of green innovation from the perspective of management literature. First, the definition of the concept and then the concept of green innovation from the management perspective in the relevant literature were evaluated. The studies on green innovation are then evaluated. The last part is a case study that examines the concept of green innovation from a business management perspective.
