Synopsis

Elements such as digital platforms, internet of things, virtual reality, digital transformation and artificial intelligence, which have developed with the Industry 4.0 era, are increasingly included in today's global trade activities. In this context, digitalizing technology reveals that every business should be positioned as a technology company, regardless of its business structure, sector or job description. As a matter of fact, regardless of the sector, the processes of all businesses definitely need mobile and technology. Since world trade has grown exponentially from past periods to today, international marketing has become more important and effective than ever for businesses. International trade has revolutionized communication and transportation and has developed strongly with further economic liberalization, the rapid spread of globalization, the entry of billions of new customers and new competitors in the global market. Advances in information, communication and transportation technologies, combined with the intense use of the internet and social media worldwide, enable the obstacles that many businesses face in operating beyond national borders to be increasingly overcome. Today's information age, technological developments and globalization elements have made it significantly easier for businesses to operate not only in local markets but also in different countries or markets. Today, businesses can supply the production elements such as raw materials and semi-finished products they need in production from different markets, carry out the production and assembly processes in globally planned production centers, sell the products they will offer to customers to different markets with various distribution channels and digital marketing strategies, and manage the processes needed after sales. Within the scope of the study, the effect of digitalization, which has been increasing recently, on international marketing strategies is examined. It is expected that the importance of digital technologies in international marketing strategies will increase in this digital age and in the following periods.
