Synopsis

The purpose of digital games is to keep individuals away from the stress of life for a certain period of time. Children and young people are very curious about new games. One of the most popular gaming challenges in the world is the Blue Whale game. The game involves a series of tasks that must be completed within a 50-day period and each day the tasks become more life-threatening. The game often targets vulnerable and psychologically weak young people. The game is not an app or an internet-based game, but is delivered to participants through social media chat groups. Those who log in to the sent link are probably playing the last game of their lives. Even if the participant fails in the game process, they cannot end the game. The Blue Whale game, which targets innocent children and young people, carries out an illegal and inhumane activity. The founder of the game, Russian psychologist Philipp Budeikin, was arrested in 2015, but the game is still run by other administrators. Serious measures have still not been taken against the distribution of the game.
