Synopsis
Environmentally friendly green practices in the supply chain have attracted great attention from businesses and academics in recent years. Environmentally sensitive changes in customer demands, laws, incentives and regulations issued by governments to reduce environmental impacts have accelerated the transition to a green supply chain. Environmentally friendly green practices in the supply chain have attracted great attention from businesses and academics in recent years. Environmentally sensitive changes in customer demands, laws, incentives and regulations issued by governments to reduce environmental impacts have accelerated the transition to a green supply chain. The fact that traditional supply chains provide only economic returns, devoid of environmental and social benefits, is no longer sufficient for the success of businesses. In order to achieve their goals of benefiting from global competitive advantage, businesses have turned to efforts to develop supply chain designs with sustainable green practices. The purpose of this study is to investigate green purchasing, green production and other green supply chain practices related to sustainable green supply chain management. In addition, definitions of green supply chain functions, sustainability and green supply chain management obtained from different studies in the literature have been made. Current green supply chain studies have been examined to improve sustainability performance.
