The concept of nostalgia has been explored in various disciplines; however, the conceptualization and operationalization of nostalgia at the organizational level is still new in the literature. Moreover, there is a lack of empirical studies examining the role of organizational nostalgia on specific organizational behaviors. Researchers have suggested that nostalgia plays several important roles in organizations. Currently, there is no comprehensive overview of the role of nostalgia in this context. In this section, the term organizational nostalgia, which is a current topic in organizational behavior, is examined. In this context, firstly, the conceptual development of the term nostalgia and the levels of nostalgia are presented. The conceptual development and importance of organizational nostalgia, which is one of the new concepts researched in the organizational behavior literature, is explained. In the following parts of the study, a model on nostalgia in organizations was examined. The study is completed with a conclusion. There are few studies on the concept of organizational nostalgia in the domestic literature. When the studies in the literature are examined, it is seen that they focus on the identity or coping effects of organizational nostalgia in the presence of threat. For this reason, it is necessary to raise awareness about the concept of organizational nostalgia and to associate it with different fields.
