Synopsis

In tennis, anaerobic capacity refers to the body's ability to generate energy during high-intensity and short-term activities. This capacity is especially important in tennis matches where fast and explosive movements are made. Anaerobic capacity allows players to use their energy systems effectively. As it is known, anaerobic activities such as fast runs, fast kicks and fast turns are frequently performed in tennis. The high anaerobic capacity allows players to perform fast and powerful movements. Tennis matches are full of short-term but intense skills, so building anaerobic capacity allows players to maintain their energy levels and maintain their performance. At the same time, the anaerobic capacity allows players to hit the balls more powerfully and quickly. The development of anaerobic capacity in tennis generally contributes positively to the performance of the athlete.
