Synopsis
Tourism businesses are very affected by all kinds of risks from the establishment stage; possibility of war, terrorism, earthquake etc. events. Naturally, there are reservation cancellations. In addition to these problems, crises may occur within the organization, and in some cases, crises can present both threats and opportunities. In such a case, business management is responsible for the management of crises, because a crisis that is not managed well can lead to the end of the life of the business, or if the foresighted managers can manage the crisis well, they can evaluate the opportunities and make decisions that will take the business forward. In this study, the problems experienced within the organization in hospitality establishments, arising from both the employees who make up the organization and the management practices, will be explained and the applications of the Problem-Based Learning (PBL) Technique, which is thought to be useful in solving the problems, will be explained.
