Synopsis

Today, as the value of information increases and companies share and control the power of information, people and organizations that control social media and web pages gain significant advantages. Elon Musk's Twitter Developer limits the number of accounts where data can be shared, and the number of tweets users can read. In this study, Web scraping methods used in obtaining and analyzing data on social media and Web pages are evaluated, and inferences are made about how companies can use this data and how they can benefit in creating strategies. Web scraping is a technique used to automatically collect data from Web pages. These methods use programming languages and tools to extract data from Web pages. This data is then analyzed to help firms develop strategies. Web scraping methods collect customer behavior, market trends, competitor analysis, and other important data. This data helps firms to improve their products and services, improve customer experiences, and optimize marketing strategies. However, Web scraping methods, firms must comply with legal and ethical rules.
